The project consisted of upgrading an existing line. Tewes Bis designed, executed and integrated with other devices two columns for pre-forming and pressing cheese and two buffer tanks for cheese grains. The initial pressing, filtration of whey and formation of blocks of curd takes place in a column device. Pressing the cheese slurry takes place by gravity in a continuous manner. The corresponding column height guarantees obtaining the required pressures at the stage of cheese pre-forming. The whey is drained by a perforation system to the whey reception installation:
